14. Study of North Pacific Stocks

Much more information is needed concerning the whale stocks in the North
Pacific and the Scientific Committee recommended that a special group of
scientists should make a study of the stocks of all species in the North
Pacific.
The preliminary plans for the study were to be made by correspondence through
the Secretary who will make the necessary approaches.
In accepting the Scientific Committee's report the recommendation was approved
by the Commission.
