30. The Chairman and Vice-Chairman

The Chairman of the Commission (Mr. W.C. Tame) had already informed
Commissioners that it was unfortunately necessary for him to relinquish the
Chairmanship.
The Secretary submitted his formal request to the Commission to accept his
resignation at its present meeting.
By unanimous decision Mr. I. Fujita (Japan) was elected Chairman and Dr. J.L.
McHugh (United States of America) was elected Vice-Chairman for the period
beginning with the closure of the meeting.
