20. Bryde's Whale

At its meeting in 1968 the Scientific Committee had suggested that sei whales
and Bryde's whales should be recognized as distinct species and suggested
amendments to the Schedule for this purpose.
It requested that this item with the appropriate amendments to the Schedule
should be put on the agenda for the next meeting.
The Technical Committee endorsed this and the Secretary was asked to include
it in the agenda for the 1970 meeting.
