Statements were made by Mr. L.K. Boerema of the Food and Agriculture
Organization, Mr. A.J. Aglen of the International Council for the Exploration
of the Sea, Mr. R.S.R. Fitter of the Fauna Preservation Society, Dr. C.W.
Holloway of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Mr.
C. Platt of the International Society for the Protection of Animals.
A statement was made on the withdrawal of New Zealand from the Commission by
Mr. P. Cotton who attended on behalf of the New Zealand Government.
