15. REQUIREMENT FOR COLLECTION OF BIOLOGICAL DATA

The Technical Committee urged the Commission to consider ways in which data required under paragraph 23(b) and (c) of the Schedule may be made available to the Scientific Committee in timely fashion. The Technical Committee also endorsed the Scientific Committee recommendation that a new paragraph be inserted in the Schedule, Section VI, Information Required, concerning biological material needed for the analysis of the status of stocks. The Commission approved this amendment, which is shown in Appendix 11.
