29. ADMISSION OF THE PRESS
(from "Chairman's Report of the Thirty-First Annual Meeting")
The Commission considered the admission of the Press to the meeting noting
both advantages and disadvantages and recognising difficulties experienced by
the press in obtaining information from and access to delegates while the
meeting is in progress.
No changes were made to existing arrangements whereby the press are able to
report plenary sessions but it was agreed that in future either the Chairman
or Vice-Chairman would attempt to make themselves available to the press at
least once a day.
